On the Inception of Warwick & Lancaster School of Business

Good evening, friends, learners, partners, and fellow change makers.
It is an honour to stand before you today- not as a founder of just another business school, but as a representative of a vision that transcends boundaries, a mission that carries the hopes of millions, and a belief that education- real, practical, transformative education- should belong to everyone.
The Warwick & Lancaster School of Business was born out of a deep recognition- one that echoes in classrooms and boardrooms across the world. It’s a recognition that while the world is full of talented, deserving, and ambitious individuals, the opportunity to access high-quality, globally respected business education still remains out of reach for far too many.
Our story began with a group of globally engaged business professionals- alumni from diverse walks of life- whose hearts were deeply influenced by two remarkable places: Warwick and Lancaster.
Now, allow me to pause here for a moment.
These cities- Warwick and Lancaster- are not just names.
They are symbols of excellence, resilience, and heritage.
- Warwick, with its majestic architecture, rich cultural history, and a spirit that blends classical wisdom with modern vision.
- Lancaster, with its noble legacy, progressive energy, and a deep-rooted commitment to community, knowledge, and leadership.
It is the values of these cities- their unshakable integrity, their culture of intellectual growth, their vibrant ecosystems of enterprise- that have inspired us profoundly.
And it was this inspiration that led us to ask one bold question:
What if we could carry the spirit of Warwick and Lancaster to the farthest corners of the world?
What if students in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America could feel the same transformative power of business education without having to cross oceans, or navigate impossible barriers?
That is how Warwick & Lancaster School of Business came into being.
We are not a traditional institution.
We are a movement in education- bridging the gap between where learners are and where they deserve to be.
